Amid escalating concerns over rising Antifa-related unrest in Portland, Oregon, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has issued a stern warning to local officials, threatening federal intervention if security measures are not strengthened.
Portland police arrested two people during Sunday night’s protest outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in South Portland, the Police Bureau said. Officers took a 17-year-old from Milwaukie into custody at about 9:30 p.m., police said. He faces charges of assault in the fourth degree.
