Dave stock surged more than 12%, while Embraer shares slipped 1%. Ferrari stock added nearly 1% as Pfizer shares lost nearly 1%. Shopify stock declined more than 3%, while Spotify stock jumped nearly 6%. And Uber shares skidded nearly 5% in premarket action.

The major stock indexes were mixed on Monday, at the outset of another busy week of quarterly earnings reports and the release of key private sector employment data.
